๐ŸŒพ About Us

A family-owned microfarm, rooted in Anne Arundel County

Oodelally Farm is a small, family-run homestead tucked into the rolling green of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. We started with a simple dream: raise our children with dirt under their fingernails, animals to care for, and a deep, working knowledge of where good food comes from.

Today, our family tends laying hens, Silver Fox rabbits, and White Dorper hair sheep, all raised with care right here on our own small suburban property. We believe a farm should feel like a place, not a business: a little wild, a little whimsical, and always welcoming to other families who want to learn alongside us.

Every class we teach and every post we write comes from what we're actually doing in our own yard, coops, and kitchen โ€” not a textbook. We're not experts performing for an audience; we're neighbors sharing what's worked (and what hasn't) as we go.

๐ŸŒฑ Our Mission

Farming where we are, with what we have

"You don't need thirty acres to start. We're a family learning to farm well on an ordinary suburban lot โ€” and we want to help other families see what's possible on theirs, too."

Best Practices, Small Scale

We use the best animal- and land-care practices we can on our own small property, learning and improving every season.

Family Education

We teach hands-on classes so other families can build real skills, together.

Food Sovereignty

We believe every family deserves to know how to grow, forage, and raise their own food.

Start Where You Are

You don't need acreage to begin โ€” just curiosity, a little space, and the will to try. We're proof a suburban lot is enough to start today.

๐Ÿ‡ Our Animals

The crew behind Oodelally Farm

Every animal here has a job, a name, and plenty of room to roam. Here's who you'll meet on a visit.
